  • Who can enter?
    This is a Winner’s Circle competition exclusive to former national MPA national title holders including Lifetimes and Ambassadors.
  • What will be on the banner/sash?
    Miss Plus America Legend
  • What is the length of the reign?
    5 years
  • Is there an entry fee?
    Yes. There is an entry fee of $500.
  • What does the entry fee cover?
    o Entrance to all ticketed show events plus one additional ticket for each. o The PJ Party o Commemorative 20th Anniversary T-Shirt o All meals provided to the MPA contestants* ▪ *With the exception of the Queens’ dinner o Program Book o Official Legend Crown o More to come…
  • Will I be required to purchase a program book ad?
    Yes.
  • Are services provided for ad creation?
    No. We do have someone on staff we can recommend to provide this service for a fee. If you choose not to use this staff member, you’ll need to make it print-ready according to the specification provided.
  • Is there a payment plan?
    Yes. We can customize your payment plan.
  • Are there refunds?
    No, as always, there are no refunds.
  • What are the categories of competition?
    o Interview 50% o Fashion Pant Wear 25% o Gown 25%
  • What is the prize package?
    o The Current Prize Package: ▪ MPA Royal Regalia includes: · MPA Staff position for the next 5 years as the royal court liaison · You’ll make history as the first title holder of its kind. · Cash award (TBD) · Custom Official Royal Crown · Custom Banner · Scepter · Commemorative award · Room* and meals* for the next 5 national competitions. o This is non-transferrable. If you miss a year, you can’t make it up. o *Rooms – You may be assigned a staff-roommate. o *Meals – Some meals will be included. Not all. · Official MPA Photoshoot. · Program book for the duration of your reign. · Full page complementary ad in the program book of every year you attend. · Media opportunities TBD. · More to come.
  • Will former national titleholders be included in the Procession of the Robe?
    If you compete in the Legends pageant, you may participate in the Procession of the robe. As always, all Lifetimes and Ambassadors are invited to participate as well.
  • If I compete, am I required to stay at the host hotel?
    Yes.
  • Does the winner get a robe?
    No. The MPA robe is exclusive to the MPA Elite title.
  • Do I have to sign a contract?
    Yes. You will sign a conduct contract and a waiver of liability to compete and if you win, you will sign a winner’s contract.
  • Will we get new regalia?
    The entry fee does cover an official Legend crown. Each competitor will use their official national sash.
  • How many divisions will there be?
    One division. Everyone will be in the same group. There will be one winner and 2 runners’ up.
